  • This course is designed for anyone who wants to master Dorico in a structured and pedagogical way, from complete beginners learning notation software for the first time to experienced composers, arrangers, and educators switching from other software. If you’re ready to produce professional-quality sheet music efficiently and effectively, this course is for you.

  • You’ll need access to Dorico (any version—Dorico SE, Elements, or Pro will work), a computer, and a basic understanding of music notation. If you haven’t purchased Dorico yet, we’ve partnered with Steinberg to offer an exclusive 15% discount for enrolled students. Please note that Dorico SE and Dorico Elements have limitations to some of the features we will be going over in this course

    This course is intended for those already familiar with aspects of music notation, such as how to read music, basic music theory, etc. No music theory will be taught in this course.

    Various ways to input music in Dorico will be shown, such as with the keyboard, with the mouse, and with a MIDI keyboard. You can use any method you prefer through this course.

    A Mac computer is used for this course, but the course is designed to also be followed by Windows users.

    To enhance your experience, it is recommend accessing the course on your desktop, laptop, or tablet.
